This is the seventh annual conference that RTT has run, and the second year it has chosen to do so in Salzburg at the Salzburg Residence in the heart of this elegant historical city. RTT is now an established supplier of visualisation software solutions and services to various industries, principal amongst which is the automotive design industry. The conference was orientated around showing related digital visualisation case studies from the broad portfolio of RTT associates and clients including Porsche, BMW, EA Games and Audi.
Mercedes CLC to debut as Mercedes-Benz Concept Style Coupe? It looks like the new Mercedes CLC – a mini CLS based on the new A Class – will debut at a film and food festival in LA as the Concept Style Coupe. We know that a mini CLS based on the new Mercedes A Class is planned, and we know it’s likely to be the Mercedes CLC (or any number of other potential monikers including CLA and BLS) and will probably even spawn a CLC Shooting Brake version too.
2012 Jaguar Range - every one a gem
You’d have to have been living in a cave for the last couple of years not to know that Jaguar’s cars are now back at the top of the heap, and the 2012 Jaguar Range is probably the strongest line-up from Jaguar in a couple of generations. Regular readers will already have seen all the tweaks and additions to the Jaguar XF, Jaguar XJ and Jaguar XK for 2012 here over the last few months, but there’ll be the chance to see the updates in the flesh from this weekend at Motorexpo at Canary Wharf. The 2012 Jaguar XF – which debuted at New York in April – gets to look more like the concept on which it was based, the Jaguar C-XF Concept, which is a sure sign of the growing confidence at Jaguar.
